Specialties

There are 15 Operating theatres that are used for general surgery, vascular surgery, trauma and orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology maxillo-facial surgery, and ENT surgery. Teaching on the management of the difficult airway is common. Gloucester also serves as the upper gastro-intestinal surgical centre for 3 counties.
