Anaesthesia Programme
Starting in the School
Welcome to the Bristol School of Anaesthesia!
We hope you are enjoying your time in the Bristol School of Anaesthesia and you should find this website very useful during your training if there is anything you cannot find or there is something you feel should be added then do please give us a ring.
On a more practical note, here are a list of things you need to organise as you start:-
* Register with the
College
.
* Obtain a National Training Number (NTN). The Deanery should give you a training number but
please note this is still under national discussion.
* Liaise with the anaesthetic department, confirming your email address.
* Start an electronic
logbook
according to RCoA guidelines.
* Read and download
CCT in Anaesthesia
, a manual for Trainees and Trainers which is on the
RCoA website
Register with
e-learnining in Anaesthesia
* Identify your education superviser and make an appointment. Read local guidance handbook of the
department you are starting in.
