Bristol Q

For anyone thinking of sitting the Final FRCA MCQ/SAQ Spring 2010 (16/03/2010) just thought we would send an early e-mail about Bristol Q, (to register interest). Although it's a long way off before you'll be contemplating hitting the books, time flies....only 75 days left til Xmas!

For those of you who haven't heard of the Bristol Q Course, it is a 9 week course, held every wednesday evening from 13.01.2010 and finishing the week before the written exam.  Each week you will have the opportunity to practice SAQ's under exam conditions, (which are largely based on pulications from the CPD journals and other topical themes), written by trainees who have recently sat the exam (so experience is fresh!) and reviewed by consultants. Some answers will be marked for you and others you will have the opportunity to mark yourselves....as there is as much to learn from this in terms of technique/style/presentation etc.  We would encourage anyone thinking signing up to attend all 9 weeks as there's most to be gained this way.  Most importantly, the course is free, all we ask is that you fill out a questionnaire at the beginning and end of the course and write one SAQ, to add to our bank.  Bristol Q now has it's own page on this website!!

This is a fantastic course, (speaking from personal experience) and a good way to focus your revision early/get used to exam conditions.  If you are interested, please send us an e-mail  Bristolq@hotmail.co.uk
