Educational Supervision Course

In order to be able to approve Educational Supervisor competence, the Deanery have developed seven core criteria:

  1. Roles and Responsibilities of Educational Supervisors and an overview of the other key roles required in the training of doctors
  2. Guidance on required trainee assessments
  3. Appraisal processes and skills
  4. Educational theory and practice
  5. ARCP processes
  6. Equality and Diversity (certificated - http://www.corelearningunit.nhs.uk/SignIn.aspx)
  7. Doctors in Difficulty

A one day course covering elements 5 and 7 (ARCP and Doctors in Difficulty) will be held on Friday 26th March 2010 from 09:00 – lunch will be included – on Level 4 of the Education Centre.  Please see the attached course brochure for further information.
