A Junior Doctor's Guide to the NHS -
A Junior Doctors Guide to the NHS
End of Placement Survey -
All trainees should have received an email from Dr Ted Rees and Dr Robin Cooper, Training Programme Directors, regarding the Severn Deanery's End of Placement Survey which can be found on the Severn Deanery website or by following the link -
www.severndeanery.nhs.uk/End_of_Placement_Evaluation_Form.php
. If you have not received this email then contact us using the 'Contact Us' facility available on this website.
BristolQ -
For anyone doing the final FRCA there is an SAQ revision course held on Wednesday evenings in the Anaesthetic Department, BRI. For further details please email -
BristolQ@hotmail.co.uk
or contact Dom Hurford.
BristolQ now has it's own page on this website.
For the past seven years, the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Bristol Children’s Hospital has run the Simulated Paediatric Life-support and Transfer (SPLAT) course, which focuses on the management and stabilisation of critically ill children. It concentrates on the period of care beyond that covered by APLS, before definitive intensive care management is established.
We are running the course again
on 24th
March 2010, and would like to invite you
,
your colleagues
and
trainees to attend. Because the course requires high levels of instruction, places are strictly limited to 28, of which 8 are reserved for nurses.
We currently only have 7 medical places remaining on this course. The course has always been strongly evaluated and is recognised by both the RCPCH & RCoA for 6 CPD credits.
T
he cost of this 1-day course is £195. Please contact
