Record of In-Training Assessment (RITA)



A Record of In-Training Assessment (RITA) shoud occur at the end of each year of training.  RITAs will be held centrally now and there is no distinction between local and regional RITAs. 
 
You should be informed by the School when your next RITA is due approximately 6 weeks prior to the date.    It is then up to you to liaise with your college tutors and get the paperwork done in time otherwise you will be issued with a RITA D which signals room for improvement.  You are aiming for a RITA C (move on to next year) at the end of each year and a RITA G (all aspects of training completed) at the end of year 7.
 
Paperwork to be forwarded to Julie Flowers, School Support Manager, prior to your RITA are:-

2.  Trainer RITA Assessment Form

3.  Up-to-date copy of your curriculum vitae.

Paperwork to bring with you on the day of your RITA:-

1.  Competency based training workbook.

2.  Educational Portfolio. 

Please ensure that your logbook is also completed and up-to-date.
